What you get
RKVY was launched nationally in 2007-08 to give states flexibility to plan and fund agriculture and allied-sector projects according to local priorities rather than a one-size-fits-all central design. In Nagaland, RKVY funds have supported activities including seed and planting material distribution, soil and water conservation works, farm mechanization, horticulture development, and infrastructure such as godowns and market yards, chosen through the State Level Sanctioning Committee based on district agriculture action plans. The scheme works as an umbrella funding mechanism, often dovetailed with other missions to fill local infrastructure and input gaps.
