Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 16 July 2026
By accessing or using AgriBoz, you agree to these Terms. They apply to every user — family farmers, buyers, Acharyas and experts, corporates and institutions, and farm-retreat hosts. Please read them carefully.
1. What AgriBoz is
AgriBoz is a connection and intelligence platform that helps family farmers connect with buyers; discover government schemes; access value-addition, procurement and sourcing intelligence; and reach workshops, training programs, farm retreats, and B2B / CSR programs for corporates and institutions. We are primarily a facilitator and information layer — not a logistics company, not a financial institution, fund manager or investment adviser, and not a party to the underlying trade, engagement or program between users. Direct trade between users (for example, a farmer selling produce to a buyer) happens off-platform and is solely between those users (see Section 7).
For certain purchases made on the platform — paid digital knowledge, physical books shipped by Acharyas, expert-service bookings, and paid workshop or retreat bookings where indicated — AgriBoz collects the payment, retains a platform fee, and holds the balance on the seller’s or host’s behalf until delivery or completion, acting as a limited payment-collection and escrow-light agent. In those cases we are still not the seller and not a guarantor of quality, fitness, delivery, authenticity or outcome — our role is limited to collecting, holding and releasing funds under the terms below (see Sections 4 and 5).
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be capable of entering a binding contract under Indian law, provide accurate information, and complete the verification applicable to your role — Farm ID (farmers), buyer verification (buyers), corporate profile verification (corporates/institutions), and Acharya/expert verification (Acharyas). Verification reflects the information and documents you supply; it is a trust signal, not a warranty by AgriBoz of any user’s identity, quality, solvency or conduct. One account per mobile number. We may suspend or deactivate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or misuse the platform.
3. Memberships, payments & promotions
Paid memberships and plans for buyers, Acharyas, corporates and solution partners are billed in advance via our payment partner (Razorpay). Plan caps (leads, connections, programs, listings, etc.) apply per plan and may reset on your billing date. À-la-carte purchases — promotional boosters and featured placements (e.g. featured pages, spotlights, homepage banners) and connection / lead credit packs — are one-time purchases that activate immediately; boosters buy visibility only, and credit packs top up your usage allowance and do not expire. Trust badges (Verified / Recommended / Master Strategist) are earned and free — they are never sold, and no payment improves a verification outcome or a score. Introductory pricing is time-limited. Prices are server-controlled; see the Refund Policy for cancellations and refunds.
Government Scheme Disclaimer
AgriBoz is an intelligence layer only. We surface government schemes you may be eligible for based on the information in your Farm ID. We do not guarantee approval, eligibility, disbursal, or any benefit, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government body. All scheme information is provided for awareness and may change. You must verify details and apply directly through official government portals. AgriBoz is not a middleman and charges no fee for scheme outcomes.
4. On-platform purchases, funds we hold & escrow-light
Some things are bought directly on AgriBoz rather than off-platform: paid digital knowledge/content from Acharyas, physical books shipped by Acharyas, expert-service bookings with Acharyas, and paid workshop and farm-retreat bookings where a price is shown at booking. For these:
- How payment flows. AgriBoz collects your payment through Razorpay, retains a platform fee (currently 15% on paid-knowledge sales and expert-service bookings; any other fee is shown at the point of purchase), and holds the remaining amount on the seller’s or host’s behalf.
- When the seller is paid (escrow-light). We release the held amount to the seller/host after delivery or completion is confirmed, or after an automatic release window passes if no dispute is raised: shipped books auto-release 10 days after the seller marks the item dispatched; expert-service bookings auto-release 5 days after payment; digital content is delivered instantly on payment; other bookings follow the window shown at booking. You can confirm receipt/completion sooner from your orders/bookings page.
- Our limited role. In these flows AgriBoz acts only as a limited payment-collection and escrow-light agent to lower risk for both sides. We are not the seller, not a bank, NBFC or escrow company, and not a guarantor of the item’s quality, fitness, authenticity, delivery or any outcome. Our responsibility is limited to collecting, holding and releasing the funds under these terms.
- Disputes. If an item is not delivered, is damaged, or is materially not as described, raise it through support before you confirm receipt and before the auto-release window ends. Where a dispute is valid, we may withhold, reverse or refund the held amount from funds not yet released. Once funds have been released to the seller, resolution is a matter between you and the seller. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Shipping & Delivery Policy for the details of each purchase type.
5. Selling on AgriBoz (goods & services)
If you list paid content, physical books, bookable expert services, workshops or retreats, you are the seller or host of that item and AgriBoz is the payment rail described in Section 4 — not the seller. As a seller/host you warrant and agree that:
- you own or are licensed to sell the item and it does not infringe any third party’s intellectual-property or other rights — no counterfeit, pirated or unlawful goods or content;
- your titles, descriptions, formats, prices and availability are accurate and not misleading;
- for physical goods, you will dispatch within the stated time, mark the order shipped and add tracking where available, package the item safely, and ensure it is lawful to sell and ship to the buyer’s location;
- you are responsible for your own taxes (including GST where applicable) and for any statutory compliance relating to what you sell;
- you are responsible for non-delivery, misdescription, defects and chargebacks relating to your item; AgriBoz may withhold, reverse or refund a held payout, and may suspend selling privileges, in cases of non-delivery, fraud, repeated disputes or breach of these Terms.
6. Stakeholder-specific terms
The following apply in addition to the general Terms, according to your role:
- Family farmers: you are responsible for the accuracy of your Farm ID, produce listings, availability and claims (including any farming-method, organic or natural-farming claims). AgriBoz verifies identity and documents you provide — not your growing methods or produce quality. Deals close off-platform; price, payment and delivery are your responsibility.
- Buyers: you must accurately represent your organisation, capacity and intent, and deal in good faith. Contact details unlocked through the platform may be used only to pursue a genuine sourcing relationship — not for spam, resale of data, or circumvention.
- Acharyas & experts: you warrant that your profile, credentials, experience, impact figures and media are true and that you hold the rights to anything you upload. AgriBoz provides discovery, verification and lead-generation; we are not your employer or agent, do not guarantee leads, bookings or income, and are not a party to your engagements with organisations. Internal verification scores are private and at our discretion.
- Corporates & institutions: your corporate profile, CSR/ESG details and program briefs must be accurate. Programs (procurement, CSR projects, farmer funding, ESG, retreats, training) are arranged through proposals and separate written arrangements. AgriBoz provides matching, coordination and impact reporting based on platform data; final ESG/BRSR/Schedule VII classification and regulatory compliance are your responsibility, confirmed with your own advisers.
- Farm-retreat hosts: if you list a retreat, you are responsible for the accuracy of the listing, the safety, legality, licensing and condition of your premises, and the experience you deliver to guests. Where bookings or commissions apply, the terms are presented at listing/booking and form part of these Terms. Hosting is also governed by our Farm Retreat Host Agreement.
7. Off-platform transactions & connections
Aside from the on-platform purchases described in Section 4, AgriBoz facilitates discovery and connection only. Direct trade between farmers and buyers, and other dealings, services, funding and engagements that close off-platform, happen directly between the users involved. For these off-platform dealings we do not collect payment, do not hold funds in escrow, do not guarantee any counterparty’s performance, and are not responsible for the outcome, quality, payment or delivery of any deal, program or engagement. Conduct your own due diligence and use written agreements where appropriate.
Farmer Funding & Corporate Program Disclaimer
The Farmer Funding Program and other corporate/CSR programs are facilitation services. AgriBoz designs, matches, coordinates and reports on programs — it is not a fund, bank, NBFC, financial institution or investment adviser, does not pool or hold contributors’ money as a financial product, does not offer securities, loans or returns, and guarantees no financial return, social outcome or specific impact. Funding flows and obligations are governed by the separate written arrangement for each program. Tax, CSR-eligibility and regulatory treatment are the corporate’s responsibility, to be confirmed with its own advisers.
8. Intelligence, scores & estimates
Discovery, procurement and sourcing intelligence, value-addition and business opportunities, harvest forecasts, sourcing-feasibility, quality and Rural Wealth scores, recommendation/trust scores, and similar features are indicative guidance only. They are based on self-reported and platform data and are not guarantees of price, demand, supply, quality, income, eligibility or any outcome, and are not financial, legal, tax, business, agronomic or professional advice. Verify all material details and take independent advice before acting or contracting.
9. User content, knowledge & intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, listings, photos, reviews, program details) and grant AgriBoz a licence to host, display and use it to operate and promote the platform. You must hold the rights to everything you upload. Articles, videos, case studies and other knowledge content are provided for general information only and are not professional advice. AgriBoz’s own branding, software and compilation of data are our intellectual property.
10. User conduct & content moderation
You agree not to misuse the platform, spam other users, misrepresent your identity or capacity, harvest or resell other users’ data, circumvent verification, plan limits or attribution, or attempt to take a connection off-platform to evade applicable program terms. When posting to the community timeline, chat, page feeds, comments or any other user-generated surface, you further agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, fraudulent, misleading, or that infringes any third party’s intellectual-property, privacy or other rights. You are solely responsible for the content you post; AgriBoz is an intermediary and does not endorse user content.
AgriBoz may, at its discretion and consistent with applicable law (including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it), moderate, flag, restrict, remove or disable access to content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that breach these Terms. If you believe content on the platform is unlawful or infringes your rights, report it to our Grievance Officer (see the Grievance Redressal page); we operate a notice-and-action process and will respond within the timelines stated there. See our Community Guidelines for what is and isn’t allowed, and our Username & Handle Policy for handle and impersonation rules.
11. Ratings & reviews
Reviews may only be posted where a genuine connection (a lead or chat) exists between the parties, must be honest and based on real experience, and must not be defamatory, abusive, false or misleading. You are responsible for the content you post. AgriBoz may moderate, flag or remove reviews and other user content that breach these Terms.
12. Workshops, training programs & farm retreats
Workshops, Acharya programs and retreats are listed by Acharyas/hosts and/or coordinated by AgriBoz. Specific participation, booking, pricing, commission and cancellation rules are presented at the point of booking/enquiry and form part of these Terms. Where a booking is paid on-platform, the payment and release terms in Section 4 apply. AgriBoz is not liable for the conduct, safety or quality of any third-party-delivered session, program or stay.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AgriBoz is not liable for disputes, losses or damages arising from dealings, programs, funding or engagements between users; from reliance on scheme, intelligence, scoring or knowledge information; from any user’s content, conduct or breach; or from third-party services. Where AgriBoz holds funds as a limited escrow-light agent under Section 4, our liability in connection with that transaction is limited to the amount we are holding for it. The platform and all intelligence are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
14. Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms as the platform evolves; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
