Community Guidelines & Content Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
AgriBoz is a community of farmers, buyers, Acharyas, corporates and hosts. These guidelines apply to everything you post on the platform — the community timeline (Commons), stories, comments, in-app chat, reviews, and business-page (Eco Brand / Corporate Impact) feeds. They exist to keep the community useful, honest and safe. They form part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Who this applies to
These guidelines apply to all user-generated content on AgriBoz — posts, stories, comments, messages, reviews, page posts, media, links and profiles. You are responsible for what you post. AgriBoz is an intermediary: we host content, we do not author or endorse it.
2. Post in good faith
Share things that help the community — your farm and produce, knowledge, genuine requirements, experiences and encouragement. Be accurate. Represent yourself, your organisation and your capacity honestly. Give credit and only post media and information you have the right to share.
3. What is not allowed
- Unlawful content — anything illegal under Indian law, or that promotes illegal activity.
- Harassment, hate & abuse — bullying, threats, or attacks on any person or group by religion, caste, sex, gender, region, disability or similar.
- False, misleading or fraudulent content — scams, deceptive claims, fake reviews, impersonation, or misrepresenting produce, credentials, prices or eco/impact claims.
- Defamation — false statements that damage a person’s or business’s reputation.
- Infringing content — text, images, video, books or logos you do not own or have no licence to use, including counterfeit or pirated material.
- Adult, violent or shocking content, or anything endangering children (zero tolerance).
- Private data — sharing another person’s personal or contact details without consent, or harvesting/reselling user data.
- Spam & manipulation — repetitive posting, unsolicited promotion, off-platform circumvention, or gaming reactions, follows, reviews or rankings.
- Dangerous advice — content presenting unsafe agrochemical, financial, medical or legal instructions as fact.
4. Reviews & ratings
Post a review only where you have a genuine connection (a lead or chat) with the other party. Reviews must be honest, based on real experience, and free of abuse, falsehood or conflicts of interest. Do not exchange, incentivise or fake reviews.
5. Business-page & promotional content
Eco Brand and Corporate Impact pages must keep claims truthful and substantiated. Eco, organic, natural and impact claims are your own representations — do not imply an AgriBoz certification or warranty you have not earned (see the disclaimer on those pages). Promotional posts must be clearly what they are and must follow all the rules above.
Reporting & notice-and-action
If you see content that breaks these guidelines or is unlawful, report it to our Grievance Officer via the Grievance Redressal page (or email the address listed there) with the link and the reason. Consistent with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, we operate a notice-and-action process: we review valid reports, acknowledge within the stated timeline, and remove or restrict content that breaches these guidelines or the law. In urgent cases (safety, child protection, court/gov order) we act as quickly as we can.
6. Enforcement
Where content or conduct breaches these guidelines, AgriBoz may — at its discretion and proportionate to the breach — remove or restrict content, issue a warning, limit features, or suspend or terminate the account. Repeat or serious offenders may be removed permanently. We may preserve and share information where required by law or to protect users’ safety.
7. Appeals & changes
If you believe we removed your content or actioned your account in error, contact our Grievance Officer to request a review. We may update these guidelines as the community grows; the current version always applies.
