What you get

This scheme provides farmers and their families an insurance cover of up to Rs 5 lakh in the event of accidental death or disability, alongside cashless medical treatment of up to Rs 2.5 lakh at government hospitals, health centres and empanelled private hospitals for the farmer and eligible family members. It is designed as a combined accident-and-health safety net, recognising that farming households face both occupational accident risk and general healthcare cost burden without adequate insurance coverage. Applicants must be aged between 18 and 70 years at the time of application and be a resident farmer family of Uttar Pradesh.
