What you get

Under the state's Agricultural Mechanization Scheme, farmers in Uttar Pradesh can get subsidies of 40-50% on the purchase of farm machinery (covering around 75 types of equipment including tillage, sowing, weeding, irrigation and harvesting machines), with the subsidy raised to up to 70% for small and marginal farmers. The scheme also supports group applicants: Custom Hiring Centres (CHC) can receive up to 40% subsidy capped at Rs 4 lakh, while Farm Machinery Banks (FMB) can receive up to 80% subsidy capped at Rs 8 lakh, enabling shared access to expensive machinery for farmers who cannot buy it individually. Subsidy amounts are credited directly to the beneficiary's bank account via DBT after purchase from an approved/registered dealer.
