What you get
The Uttar Pradesh government has established Agro Parks (Krishi Parks) at strategic locations to give farmers access to fair-price marketing and value-addition infrastructure close to where they grow their crops. These parks typically include cold storage, grading and sorting facilities, primary processing units and market yards, reducing the price farmers lose to multiple middlemen and post-harvest spoilage. The scheme is aimed particularly at fruit and vegetable growers and aligns with the state's food-processing investment push, with private investment often co-located alongside the public infrastructure under PPP arrangements.
