What you get
The Mukhyamantri Krishak Protsahan Yojana provides a direct cash incentive to farmers in Uttarakhand who adopt improved/high-yielding seed varieties and follow department-recommended package-of-practices for notified crops. The incentive is designed to encourage faster adoption of better agronomic practices and quality seed among the state's large base of small hill farmers, who often default to traditional low-yield varieties due to cost or access barriers. Disbursement is via DBT once the department verifies cultivation of the eligible variety/practice on the farmer's plot.
