What you get
The Mukhyamantri Prani Palak Samman Nidhi Yojana, introduced in 2024, provides Rs 6,000 per year as direct income support to registered animal/livestock farmers (prani palaks) in Tripura — covering dairy, poultry, piggery and other livestock-rearing households who are not the primary target of land-based crop schemes. The payment is intended to supplement household income and offset basic input costs (feed, healthcare) for livestock rearing, recognising that animal husbandry is a major livelihood activity for rural and tribal households in the state. It complements the department's other support such as artificial insemination services, calf nutrition support and dairy cooperative strengthening.
