What you get

Launched in 2014-15, this scheme under the Telangana State Horticulture Mission (part of the Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture, MIDH) provides capital subsidy for constructing naturally-ventilated polyhouses and greenhouses to grow high-value vegetables and flowers under protected cultivation, insulated from monsoon variability and pest pressure. General-category farmers receive 75% subsidy on construction up to 3 acres (unit cost approximately Rs 33.76 lakh, subsidy capped at Rs 25.32 lakh), while SC/ST farmers receive an enhanced 95% subsidy (capped at Rs 32.07 lakh). Beneficiaries are eligible for a minimum polyhouse area of 200 square metres up to a maximum of 3 acres, with preference typically given to small farmers with 0.5 to 1.0 acre under cultivation, plus separate 50% assistance for plant material/bed preparation costs for high-value crops grown inside.
