What you get
A voluntary, contributory pension of Rs 3,000 per month after the age of 60. The Central Government matches the farmer's monthly contribution equally.
Eligibility criteria
- Small and marginal farmers holding up to 2 hectares
- Entry age between 18 and 40 years
- Not covered under any other statutory social security scheme
- Monthly contribution between Rs 55 and Rs 200 by age of entry
