What you get
Under this Direct Benefit Transfer scheme, eligible farmers in Odisha can purchase agricultural machinery and equipment such as power tillers, harvesters, seed drills and other implements with a portion of the cost reimbursed directly to their bank account, generally once during their lifetime for major equipment categories. A dedicated DBT cell within the Agriculture & Farmers' Empowerment Department works with six partner banks to offer farmers interest-free bridge loans on the subsidy amount for up to three months, helping cover the upfront cost while the subsidy is processed. From 12 November 2025, e-RUPI vouchers have been extended for all farm machinery purchases with subsidy value up to Rs 1,00,000 per category through onboarded dealers, and a new FM-DBT Portal is set to go live from FY 2026-27 to streamline applications further.
