What you get
NeGP-A was approved as a Centrally Sponsored Scheme for Nagaland in 2014-15 and officially launched on 29 July 2015. It digitizes core agriculture department functions — farmer registration, land records linkage, soil health card data, weather and crop advisories, input distribution tracking, and scheme application status — through the state agriculture portal (Naga Farmer) and associated kiosks/Common Service Centres. The goal is to bring information and services straight to the farmer's doorstep electronically, reducing dependence on multiple physical visits to government offices and improving targeting accuracy of other schemes.
