What you get
The FOCUS project, run with International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) support through the FOCUS-IFAD Nagaland unit, helps farmers in upland and shifting-cultivation-dependent areas adopt better, more productive and more sustainable jhum and terrace-farming practices. It works through farmer groups to deliver climate-resilient agronomic training, improved seed and planting material, soil and water conservation measures, and stronger links to markets for upland produce — aiming to both raise household incomes and build long-term ecological resilience against climate change impacts on hill agriculture.
