What you get

Under the Price Support Scheme, the Madhya Pradesh government, in coordination with central nodal agencies, procures notified pulses and oilseeds — including summer moong and urad — directly from registered farmers at the declared Minimum Support Price (MSP), insulating them from distress sales when open-market prices fall. The state cabinet has approved continuation of PSS procurement for crops across rabi marketing years, with procurement centres set up at the village/mandi level during each marketing season. Farmers must pre-register their crop and expected quantity ahead of the harvest season to be eligible for MSP procurement at designated centres.

Eligibility criteria

  • Must be a farmer growing a notified pulse or oilseed crop (e.g. moong, urad, soybean, gram)
  • Must register the crop and quantity on the e-Uparjan portal within the notified window
  • Produce must meet the Fair Average Quality (FAQ) standard at the procurement centre

How to apply

  1. 1

Register on the MP e-Uparjan portal during the notified registration period

  2. 2

Receive a token/slot for delivery at the nearest procurement centre

  3. 3

Bring produce to the centre for quality check and weighment on the allotted date

  4. 4

Receive MSP payment via DBT to the registered bank account
