The Chief Minister's Farmer Livelihood Support Scheme (CMFLSS) was launched by the Manipur government as one of several CM flagship welfare schemes to address identified gaps in agricultural livelihood support that cannot be met in the short term through existing central or state scheme funding sources. The scheme is designed to provide coordinated, focused, flexible and quick short-term support for agriculture-based livelihood activities, helping farmers bridge immediate needs such as input costs, minor equipment, or activity-specific support that falls outside the scope of larger central missions. It complements other CM flagship schemes launched around the same period for broader livelihood and welfare support in the state.

Eligibility criteria

• Must be a farmer engaged in an agriculture-based livelihood activity in Manipur
• Activity/need must fall outside existing scheme coverage (identified gap-filling support)
• Subject to verification and approval by the district agriculture office

How to apply
