What you get

The State Agriculture Mechanization Scheme (commonly called Krushi Yantrikikaran Yojana) helps Maharashtra farmers, especially small and marginal landholders, acquire farm machinery such as tractors, power tillers, rotavators, seed drills, and other implements at subsidised cost, with the aim of raising energy-use efficiency and reducing manual labour dependency on farms. Subsidy percentages vary by machine type and farmer category (general/SC/ST/women/small-marginal), typically ranging from 40% to 50% of the cost subject to a maximum cap per implement. Applications are processed entirely through the MahaDBT portal using a lottery/first-come-first-served allocation method depending on the budget year, after which the farmer purchases from an empanelled dealer and claims reimbursement.

Eligibility criteria

• Must be a registered farmer in Maharashtra
• Subsidy percentage and cap vary by machine type and farmer category
• Machine must be purchased from an empanelled manufacturer/dealer listed on MahaDBT
• One farmer typically restricted from claiming the same machine category subsidy repeatedly within a defined cooldown period

How to apply
