What you get

Announced in the 2023-24 state budget and approved by the cabinet on 30 May 2023, the Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana (NSMNY) provides cultivable-landholding farmer families in Maharashtra with ₹6,000 per year, paid in three equal instalments of ₹2,000 each, timed alongside the central PM-KISAN instalments. Combined with the ₹6,000 from PM-KISAN, eligible farmer families receive ₹12,000 annually. Every farmer already receiving PM-KISAN benefits is automatically eligible for NSMNY with no separate registration needed. As of the 8th instalment released in March 2026, more than 84 lakh farmers had received over ₹1,768 crore under the scheme.
