What you get

Launched by the Maharashtra Agriculture Department in July 2025, the Krishi Samruddhi Yojana aims to promote sustainable agriculture, encourage adoption of modern farm technology, support water conservation practices, and ultimately increase crop production and farmer incomes across the state. The scheme works as a coordinating framework that channels farmers towards a combination of existing mechanisation, micro-irrigation, and soil-health interventions tailored to local agro-climatic conditions, alongside extension advisory support delivered through Krishi Vigyan Kendras and Taluka Agriculture Offices. It reflects the state's broader 2025 push (alongside the AI Agriculture Policy) to modernise farming through technology-led, demand-driven scheme delivery.

Eligibility criteria

• Must be a registered farmer in Maharashtra
• Specific component eligibility depends on the technology/practice being adopted (irrigation, soil health, mechanisation etc.)
• Land record must be linked to Aadhaar for benefit verification

How to apply

   Register interest at the Taluka Agriculture Office or via the MahaDBT portal

   Attend the orientation/advisory session on recommended modern practices for your area

   Apply for the specific technology or input component relevant to your farm

4. 4

   Receive technical handholding and applicable financial assistance as notified
