What you get

The Agricultural Labour Pension is a Kerala social-security pension specifically for landless agricultural workers — distinct from the Karshaka Pension, which is for farmer landowners — recognising that a large share of the state's farm workforce works on others' land rather than owning land themselves. It is administered through the Sevana Pension system under Kerala's Local Self-Government Department alongside other welfare pensions, providing monthly income support to elderly agricultural labourers who often have no other retirement security.

Eligibility criteria

• Resident of Kerala who has worked predominantly as an agricultural labourer (not landowner) for a notified minimum number of years
• Must be 60 years of age or above
• Should not be receiving another conflicting state welfare pension as per Sevana Pension rules

How to apply
