What you get
Raitha Siri Yojane is Karnataka's incentive scheme to promote cultivation of minor millets and nutri-cereals such as ragi, jowar, foxtail millet and other traditional grains. Eligible farmers receive ₹10,000 per acre as direct financial support for millet cultivation. The scheme separately offers a 50% subsidy (up to a maximum of ₹10 lakh) for processing, grading, value addition, packaging and branding of minor millet produce, helping farmers and farmer groups move from raw grain sales into higher-value processed millet products.
Eligibility criteria
- Must be a farmer by profession cultivating in Karnataka
- Must mainly grow minor millets/nutri-cereals on the registered land
- Should own at least one hectare of agricultural land

Register at the Raitamitra portal (raitamitra.karnataka.gov.in) or nearest Raitha Samparka Kendra

Submit land and crop details for the millet area being cultivated

Receive per-acre incentive via DBT; apply separately for the processing/branding subsidy component if value-adding
