What you get

Krishi Yantra Dhare is Karnataka's farm mechanization rental scheme operated through Custom Hire Service Centres (CHSCs) set up at the hobli (sub-taluk) level. Farmers — especially small and marginal farmers who cannot afford to buy machinery — can rent tractors, tillers, harvesters and other implements at rates around 30% lower than open-market rental rates. The scheme has established centres across roughly 490 hoblis statewide and has benefited an estimated 6 lakh farmers, significantly widening access to mechanized farm operations for smallholders.

Eligibility criteria

• Any farmer in Karnataka needing farm machinery for land preparation, sowing or harvest operations
• No land-size restriction — open to small, marginal and large farmers alike
• Booking subject to machine/slot availability at the nearest Custom Hire Service Centre

   Book the required machinery for the desired dates

   Pay the subsidised rental charge and use the equipment for the booked period
