What you get
MMKAY is Jharkhand's direct income-support scheme for small and marginal farmers, providing ₹5,000 per acre per year (for landholdings up to 5 acres) to help meet input costs for kharif/rabi cultivation. Even farmers with less than one acre of land are eligible for proportionate or minimum assistance. The amount is transferred directly into the farmer's bank account via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), with no requirement to grow a specific crop.
