What you get
Under the PM-KUSUM-linked Solar Water Pumping Scheme implemented by HAREDA, eligible Haryana farmers can install solar pumps ranging from 3 HP to 10 HP capacity at a total subsidy of 75% — 30% central financial assistance and 45% state subsidy — paying only the remaining 25% of the cost themselves. The scheme particularly benefits farmers in areas without an electricity connection for agricultural use, replacing costly diesel pump-sets with a clean, low-running-cost solar alternative for irrigation.
