What you get
Launched from financial year 2024-25, this new state scheme funds technology transfer activities — front-line demonstrations, farmer field schools, exposure visits and extension support — so that research-backed agricultural technologies developed by Himachal Pradesh's agricultural universities and KVKs (Krishi Vigyan Kendras) reach ordinary farmers faster. It is designed to bridge the gap between agricultural research and field-level adoption, helping farmers adopt improved seed varieties, integrated pest management, and soil health practices.
