What you get
MKSY is a state agriculture promotion scheme aimed at boosting farm productivity and income through subsidised support for improved seeds, micro-irrigation, farm implements and crop diversification activities. It builds on the earlier JICA-supported HP Crop Diversification Promotion Project (2011-2020, ₹321 crore) which ran in Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Mandi, Kangra and Una districts, providing irrigation facilities, farm access roads, farmer group formation, and training in vegetable production and marketing. MKSY extends similar diversification and productivity support state-wide.
Eligibility criteria
- Farmer cultivating land in Himachal Pradesh
- Willingness to diversify cropping pattern towards higher-value crops/vegetables
- Land verified as eligible by the local Agriculture Extension Officer
