What you get
Mukhyamantri Kisan Sahay Yojana, launched in August 2020, is a no-premium state crop-loss assistance scheme covering Kharif-season crop damage caused by natural calamities. Farmers whose crop loss is assessed at 33–60% receive Rs 20,000 per hectare, and those with loss above 60% receive Rs 25,000 per hectare, payable for up to 4 hectares of land per farmer. Unlike insurance schemes, no premium contribution is required from the farmer — the state bears the full cost.
