iKhedut Portal — Tractor and Farm Equipment Subsidy

Why it matters

Farmers can apply online for subsidy of 25–50% on tractors and dozens of other farm machines through a single government portal.

What you get

The iKhedut portal is Gujarat's single-window online system through which farmers can apply for more than 60 agricultural subsidy schemes, including tractor purchase subsidy (25% of cost or up to Rs 1,00,000, whichever is lower, for tractors between 20 and 60 PTO HP), as well as subsidies for power tillers, threshers, seed drills, and other farm equipment. The portal streamlines what was previously a paper-heavy, multi-office application process into a single digital application with online status tracking.

Eligibility criteria

• Must be a registered farmer in Gujarat with cultivable land
• Equipment purchased must meet the specifications notified for the relevant scheme component (e.g. tractor HP range)
• Subsidy is generally available once per equipment category within the notified eligibility period

How to apply

   Register and log in to the iKhedut portal (ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in)

   Select the relevant equipment subsidy scheme and fill in land, identity, and bank details

   Upload required documents and submit the online application

   Track application status online; on approval, purchase the equipment and claim the subsidy, disbursed via DBT
