What you get
Krishak Unnati Yojana is Chhattisgarh's flagship paddy-support scheme, launched in March 2024 by the state government, replacing the earlier Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Farmers who sell paddy to government procurement centres during the Kharif Marketing Season at the Minimum Support Price receive an additional input-assistance amount per quintal (credited directly to their bank account), bridging the gap between the MSP and the state-fixed support price of Rs 3,100 per quintal, up to a notified per-acre quantity limit. The scheme aims to make paddy cultivation more remunerative and reduce farmer distress.
