What you get

Mukhya Mantri Krishi Sa Sajuli Yojana, launched in 2018-19, provides direct financial assistance to small and marginal farmers in Assam to encourage the adoption of scientific farm tools and modern agricultural practices. Eligible farmers receive Rs.5,000 directly into their bank account via RTGS/NEFT, intended to help them purchase basic implements that raise farm productivity, with the assistance limited to one farmer per family to spread the benefit widely.

Eligibility criteria

• Small or marginal farmer resident in Assam, minimum age 21 years
• Tenant farmers/share-croppers with at least 1 acre (3 bigha) under cultivation also eligible
• Only one beneficiary per family allowed

How to apply
