Farm Food Marketplace Terms
Last updated: May 26, 2026
These terms govern the use of the AGRIBOZ Farm Food Marketplace, including all interactions between verified Farm Food Buyers and Family Farmers on the platform. By using the marketplace, you agree to these terms in addition to our general Terms of Service.
1. Platform Role
AGRIBOZ operates as an information marketplace that facilitates connections between:
- Farm Food Buyers — verified businesses and individuals seeking to source farm produce directly from verified farmers
- Family Farmers — verified Indian farmers who have completed the AGRIBOZ family farmer profile process
AGRIBOZ does not buy, sell, hold, store, transport, or deliver farm produce. All produce transactions, contracts, pricing negotiations, delivery logistics, and payment settlements occur directly between buyers and farmers outside the AGRIBOZ platform.
2. Buyer Eligibility and KYC
Access to farmer contact details and sourcing inquiries requires:
- A verified Farm Food Buyer account with an approved subscription plan
- Completed KYC verification (for plans requiring it), including business documentation
- Agreement to these marketplace terms and the general Terms of Service
AGRIBOZ reserves the right to suspend buyer access for misuse, misrepresentation, or non-compliance with these terms.
3. Contact Unlock and Data Use
When a buyer unlocks a farmer's contact details through the platform:
- Permitted use: Contacting the farmer to negotiate and transact sourcing of farm produce for the buyer's stated business purpose.
- Prohibited use: Reselling, sharing, exporting, or otherwise transferring farmer contact information to third parties; contacting farmers for purposes unrelated to farm produce sourcing; using farmer data for spam, marketing campaigns, or off-platform solicitation.
- Contact limits: Each buyer subscription plan includes a monthly contact unlock quota. Exceeding the quota requires plan upgrade or the following billing cycle.
4. AGRIBOZ Liability Limits for Marketplace Transactions
AGRIBOZ does not verify, inspect, certify, or guarantee:
- The quality, quantity, freshness, organic certification, or safety of any farm produce
- Compliance with FSSAI regulations, agricultural commodity standards, or export regulations
- Delivery timelines, packaging, or cold-chain maintenance
- The financial reliability or performance of either party in a transaction
- Whether a farmer currently has available stock matching a buyer's requirement
AGRIBOZ is not a party to any transaction between buyers and farmers. Disputes arising from produce transactions are the sole responsibility of the buyer and farmer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AGRIBOZ's liability for any marketplace-facilitated interaction is limited to the subscription fee paid for the relevant billing period.
5. Farmer Responsibilities
Family Farmers participating in the marketplace agree to:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date farm profiles, including produce availability and certifications
- Respond to buyer inquiries received through the platform in good faith
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding the sale and delivery of agricultural produce
- Not misrepresent produce as organic, natural, or certified unless holding valid certification
- Not use buyer contact information obtained through the platform for any purpose other than fulfilling the specific inquiry
6. Prohibited Buyer Conduct
- Creating fake inquiries or sourcing requirements to harvest farmer contact data
- Contacting farmers to recruit them to competing platforms
- Circumventing the platform to obtain contact data without paying the required subscription
- Using smart-match or AI features to systematically scrape farmer profiles
- Sharing buyer account credentials to allow multiple individuals to consume contact unlocks under one plan
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of any remaining subscription value, and potential legal action.
7. Food Safety Disclaimer
Buyers who source produce through the AGRIBOZ marketplace are responsible for:
- Conducting their own due diligence on produce quality, certification, and compliance
- Complying with FSSAI and any other applicable food safety regulations
- Not holding AGRIBOZ liable for any food safety incidents, recalls, or regulatory penalties arising from produce sourced through the marketplace
8. Dispute Resolution
For disputes between buyers and farmers, AGRIBOZ may, at its discretion, provide mediation support but is not obligated to do so. Raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer within 30 days of the disputed interaction.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi, India.
