This helps improve the Seed Replacement Rate (SRR) across the state — ensuring farmers use fresh, high-yielding, disease-resistant certified seed rather than recycled grain — and the green manure seed component specifically supports soil-fertility-building practices ahead of the main cropping season. Distribution is coordinated through Agriculture Extension Officers at the mandal level with quotas allocated based on registered cultivable area.

How to apply
