What you get
Launched on 31 October 2020 at Kodakandla mandal in Jangaon district, the Rythu Vedika scheme established a network of dedicated farmer-meeting platforms (Vedikas) across Telangana — with a target of constructing 2,601 such structures statewide, roughly one for every cluster of villages — where farmers can gather to discuss farming issues, receive guidance from Agriculture Extension Officers on crop planning and best practices, and access information aimed at helping them secure better/more remunerative returns for their produce. These village-cluster platforms function as a regular, physical touchpoint between the Agriculture Department's extension machinery and farmers, replacing more ad-hoc or distant interactions with a consistent local forum for agricultural advisory and farmer-to-farmer knowledge exchange.
