What you get
Telangana's Micro Irrigation Support Scheme, administered by the Horticulture Department, provides tiered subsidy support for the purchase and installation of drip and sprinkler irrigation systems: 100% subsidy for SC/ST farmers, 90% subsidy for small and marginal farmers and Backward Classes (BCs), and 80% subsidy for other general-category farmers. The subsidy is available for a maximum of 12.5 acres per beneficiary and up to Rs 6.25 lakh in total assistance, making water-efficient irrigation accessible even to resource-constrained smallholders and significantly reducing water consumption and input costs compared to conventional flood irrigation.

- Must be a farmer cultivating land in Telangana
- Subsidy tier (100%/90%/80%) determined by social category (SC/ST, small/marginal/BC, or general)
- Coverage capped at 12.5 acres and Rs 6.25 lakh per beneficiary
