What you get

Telangana's Farm Mechanization Scheme provides capital subsidy assistance to farmers and Custom Hiring Centres for the purchase of agricultural machinery including tractors, power tillers, rotavators, multi-crop harvesters, seed drills and other implements, helping address the rising cost and growing scarcity of manual agricultural labour across the state. The scheme follows differentiated subsidy slabs favoring small, marginal and SC/ST farmers, and supports the establishment of Custom Hiring Centres so that farmers who cannot afford to individually own expensive machinery (like combine harvesters) can rent access to it at affordable rates through farmer cooperatives, SHGs or FPOs, improving timeliness of farm operations like sowing and harvesting which directly affects yield and post-harvest losses.

Eligibility criteria

• Must be a farmer or registered Custom Hiring Centre applicant (cooperative/SHG/FPO) in Telangana
• Subsidy slab varies by farmer category (general/small-marginal/SC-ST)
• Machinery must be from the department-approved list of eligible implements

How to apply

   Apply at the district Agriculture office or via the AgriOS portal for the desired machinery subsidy

   Obtain dealer quotation for the approved machine/implement

   Purchase after sanction; submit bills for subsidy verification and disbursal to bank account
