Integrated Cluster Farming Scheme for Vegetables
Department of Agriculture & Farmers' Empowerment (Horticulture Wing), Government of Odisha
Why it matters
Gives vegetable growers in approved clusters seed, irrigation and marketing support so groups of farmers can produce and sell vegetables at scale instead of small scattered plots.
Valid until
Ongoing
Benefit type
Subsidy
Created by
Government of Odisha
What you get
This scheme organises vegetable cultivation into geographic clusters, typically 25-50 hectares, to achieve production scale that individual smallholder plots cannot reach alone. Within an approved cluster, farmers receive subsidised quality seed and planting material, support for micro-irrigation (drip/sprinkler), and access to common collection and grading infrastructure, along with linkage to nearby urban markets, processing units or government procurement. By coordinating sowing schedules and crop choices across the cluster, farmers also reduce local market gluts and stabilise prices for their produce.
