What you get
Odisha actively promotes the formation of Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) to give small and marginal farmers collective bargaining power for both buying inputs (seed, fertilizer, machinery) and selling produce, converging with the central 10,000 FPO scheme implemented through NABARD and other Implementing Agencies. Registered FPOs in Odisha get support for initial formation costs, equity grant matching (up to a defined cap) to strengthen working capital, and priority access to other state schemes such as Shree Anna Abhiyan procurement, farm mechanization custom hiring, and crop diversification inputs, as well as easier access to bank credit through their registered company/cooperative structure.
