What you get
Biju Krushak Kalyan Yojana provides farmer households in Odisha with cashless health insurance coverage for hospitalization, recognising that medical emergencies are one of the most common reasons smallholder farmers fall into debt traps or distress-sell assets. The scheme has historically been bundled with or run alongside the state's broader Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) health coverage architecture, extending coverage specifically to farming households identified through agriculture department records, with cashless treatment available at empanelled government and private hospitals across the state.
