What you get
NERLP is a World Bank-aided, Rs 683 crore project under DoNER, active since 2012 across districts of Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura and Sikkim. The project mobilises rural households, particularly women and unemployed youth, into Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and federated Community-Based Organisations, then provides livelihood grants, skill-building, and convergence support to start small income-generating activities — horticulture, poultry, piggery, weaving, and small agri-processing among them. Across its four implementing states, NERLP has improved livelihoods for roughly 3,00,000 rural households.
