What you get
NERLP is a World Bank-aided, Rs 683 crore multi-state project under the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), implemented across districts of Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and Sikkim since 2012. The project organises rural households, especially women and unemployed youth, into Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Community-Based Organisations, then provides livelihood grants, skill training and convergence support for farm-based and allied micro-enterprises such as horticulture, livestock-rearing and small agri-processing. NERLP has reached and improved livelihoods for roughly 3,00,000 rural households across its four implementing states combined.
