What you get

This scheme encourages farmers and rural households to rear indigenous (desi) cattle breeds by providing financial and infrastructure support for cattle-shed construction, fodder development, and the production of cow-based organic inputs such as Jeevamrut and Beejamrut used in natural farming. By linking livestock-rearing farmers to organic/natural farming input production, the scheme supports a circular farm economy where dairy income is supplemented by the sale of bio-inputs to other farmers. It also supports gaushala (cow shelter) infrastructure and aims to preserve indigenous cattle breeds important to Madhya Pradesh's agrarian economy.
