Launched in 2026, the Manipur Seed and Organic Certification Agency (MASOCA) is a dedicated state agency responsible for the large-scale production, quality assurance, and certification of seeds, as well as organic produce certification for farmers across Manipur. By centralising seed quality control and organic certification under one agency, MASOCA aims to ensure farmers have reliable access to certified quality planting material for major crops, reducing dependence on uncertified or low-quality seed sources, while streamlining the organic certification process so farmers and Farmer Interest Groups can more easily access premium organic markets. The agency works alongside the state's organic farming push and the Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region.

Eligibility criteria

• Open to all farmers and farmer groups in Manipur seeking certified seed or organic certification services
• Specific seed/crop coverage and certification process as notified by MASOCA

How to apply
