If you hold a Kisan Credit Card, get an additional ₹10,000 to help buy seeds, fertilisers and pesticides for the season.

What you get

The Bhoosiri programme provides additional direct financial support of ₹10,000 to farmers who hold a Kisan Credit Card (KCC), intended to help cover the rising cost of seeds, fertilisers and pesticides each cropping season. The scheme is designed to complement existing KCC-linked crop loans rather than replace them, easing the working-capital pressure on small farmers at the start of the season. The scheme is targeted to benefit around 50 lakh farmers across Karnataka.

Eligibility criteria

• Farmer in Karnataka holding an active Kisan Credit Card (KCC)
• KCC account must be in good standing (not classified as a defaulted/NPA account)
• One-time or seasonal benefit as notified by the department

How to apply

   Confirm your KCC is active and linked with your bank

   Apply or get auto-enrolled through your bank/PACS as notified by the Agriculture Department

3. 3

   Amount credited directly to the KCC-linked bank account
