What you get
This scheme funds construction of rural warehouses across Jharkhand so farmers and farmer collectives have access to safe, nearby storage for paddy and other produce instead of being forced into distress sales right after harvest when prices are typically lowest. The 2025-26 budget allocated ₹259.52 crore to construct 118 warehouses across the state, intended to be operated in coordination with cooperatives, FPOs and the state civil supplies arrangement to improve farmers' price realisation and reduce post-harvest losses.
