What you get
Birsa Munda Krishi Kranti Yojana provides targeted assistance to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe farmers in Jharkhand for irrigation infrastructure — including dug wells, borewell construction and allied water-source development — along with farm input support to improve cropping intensity on tribal-owned land. The scheme is part of the state's tribal sub-plan / SC sub-plan funding stream and aims to close the irrigation-access gap that disproportionately affects SC/ST smallholders in the state's plateau districts.
