What you get
The Jharkhand government is establishing Agricultural Equipment Banks to provide modern farm machinery and implements to self-help groups (SHGs), women farmer groups and registered farmer organisations on a shared/custom-hiring basis. Approved groups receive up to 80% subsidy, capped at ₹5 lakh, on an equipment package (such as tractors, tillers, threshers, seed-drills and other implements), aimed at improving farm mechanization access for smallholders who cannot individually afford machinery. The scheme followed a Rs 140 crore state government allocation announcement for agricultural equipment distribution.
