Haryana's farm machinery subsidy scheme supports farmers in purchasing tractors, rotavators, happy seeders, super seeders, balers, and other agricultural implements, with subsidy rates that are typically enhanced for small, marginal, and Scheduled Caste farmers. Beyond reducing the cost and drudgery of farm operations, certain implements like happy seeders and balers are specifically promoted to help farmers manage paddy straw without burning it, supporting the state's air-quality and soil-health goals.

Eligibility criteria

• Must be a registered farmer in Haryana with cultivable land
• Machinery purchased must be from a department-empanelled manufacturer/dealer
• Crop-residue-management implements (happy seeder, baler, etc.) may carry enhanced subsidy rates
• Subsidy generally available once per machinery category within a notified period

How to apply

   Apply online through the Department of Agriculture's farm machinery subsidy portal

   Select the required implement and an empanelled dealer

   Submit land and identity documents for eligibility verification

   On approval, purchase the machine and claim the subsidy, disbursed via DBT to your bank account
