Kisan Parivahan Yojana (Sanedo Farm Vehicle Subsidy)

Farmers get a big discount on buying a small goods vehicle, making it much cheaper and faster to move their harvest to market.

What you get

Kisan Parivahan Yojana subsidises the purchase of medium-sized farm transport vehicles (locally known as "Sanedo") used to carry crops from the field to market or storage. General-category farmers receive a 40% subsidy capped at Rs 60,000, while SC/ST and women farmers receive an enhanced 50% subsidy capped at Rs 75,000. The subsidy can be availed once every seven years, and the vehicle cannot be sold within two years of purchase or modified for passenger transport, ensuring it is used for its intended agricultural-transport purpose.

Eligibility criteria

• Must be a registered farmer in Gujarat with cultivable land
• Vehicle purchased must be the notified farm-transport vehicle category ("Sanedo")
• Subsidy can be claimed only once in seven years
• Vehicle must not be sold within 2 years of purchase or modified for passenger use

How to apply

   Apply through the iKhedut portal or local agriculture office for the Kisan Parivahan Yojana component

   Submit land, identity, and bank documents along with the vehicle quotation

   Department verifies eligibility and approves the subsidy amount

   Purchase the vehicle from an authorised dealer and claim the subsidy, disbursed via DBT
