The scheme is intended to encourage local youth and existing farmers to take up or continue vegetable cultivation by reducing the market-access risk that often discourages small-scale vegetable farming in Goa.

Eligibility criteria

• Must be a vegetable grower cultivating within Goa
• Produce must meet the corporation's quality/grading norms at the time of procurement
• Registration with GSHCL or the local procurement centre is required before supply

How to apply

   Register as a vegetable supplier with the nearest GSHCL collection/procurement centre

   Bring harvested vegetables to the centre on scheduled procurement days

   Produce is graded and weighed at the centre

   Payment is made at the prevailing procurement rate, typically via bank transfer
