What you get

CHIRAAG is a multi-activity rural livelihoods scheme focused on backward and tribal-dominated blocks of Chhattisgarh. It supports integrated farm development including land and water conservation works, improved agriculture and horticulture practices, livestock and dairy development, and fisheries promotion, aiming to raise overall household income through a basket of interventions rather than a single cash transfer.

Eligibility criteria

  • Must reside in a notified backward/tribal block covered under the programme
  • Priority given to small and marginal farmer households, including tribal families
  • Willingness to participate in the relevant farm-development activity (water conservation, horticulture, livestock, or fisheries)

How to apply

    Enrol with your land and household details for the relevant activity component

    Technical teams assess your land/water/livestock situation and recommend an intervention package
