What you get
MOVCD-NER is implemented in Arunachal Pradesh (and other North-Eastern states) to develop end-to-end organic value chains, given that the region is widely considered "organic by tradition" due to historically low chemical fertiliser use. The mission provides financial assistance — including support of around Rs.46,500 per hectare for farmer clusters covering organic inputs, certification and post-harvest infrastructure — and has already expanded organic cultivation across thousands of hectares in the state, benefiting farmer groups through Farmer Producer Companies that aggregate and market organic produce.
